Firmware Upgrade:
To avoid compatibility issues between the remote controller and compatible camera firmware versions, connect the remote controller to the Insta360 App after updating the camera firmware to check for firmware updates and perform the corresponding upgrades.
Firmware Update Instructions:
1. Open the Insta360 App and go to "Settings" > "Update GPS Remote Controller."
2. Enable Bluetooth and connect to the "Insta360 GPS Preview Remote" device when your phone detects it.
3. If a firmware upgrade is available, proceed with the update.
4. The App will automatically download the new firmware and transfer it to the remote controller. Ensure that your phone screen stays on and the App remains open during this process.
5. Once the transfer is complete, the remote controller will automatically restart and begin the update process. You can monitor the update progress on the remote controller screen. Once completed, the remote controller is ready for normal use.
Notes:
1. This product contains magnets. Keep it away from devices susceptible to interference, such as pacemakers.
2. Use this product within the temperature range of -20°C to 40°C.
3. If the product is not used for an extended period (e.g., two months or longer), the battery may be depleted. Charge and power on the product in a timely manner.
